The Baroness was born into a legendary wine-making lineage in the famous Châteauneuf-du-Pape region of France. In 1919, Edmée, the Heiress to Château Fortia, married the decorated World War I pilot, Baron Le Roy. This power couple went on to be important leaders in growing native varietals Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvèdre on the ancient estate.
This GSM rosé is our tribute to the woman who created a wine legend, and a continued legacy for the wine industry, preserving the integrity of native vines to their place of origin.
